The FR 2670-I Insulated Oversize Fire Rated Rolling Door is our stronger design that offers up to 3hr protection against fire while providing thermal control with an 7.25 R-Value.
It is certify under the UL10B protocol, standard for Fire test of door assemblies and also can be order to meet and exceed the very stringent High Velocity Hurricane Zones (H.V.H.Z) requirements of the current edition of the Florida Building Code.
Our Model FR 2670-I was designed having in mind 2 proposes, first to offer a stronger option for standard size openings looking to reinforce their safety and second, to find the solution for oversize openings where the thermal control or sound transmission control is required, but at the same time need the additional protection in the event of a Fire, like refrigerated or air-conditioned warehouse, retail stores, studios and more,
The door include weather-strip, flexible vinyl or rubber seals for the guides and hood to completely seal the opening against the elements. Performing a 7.25 R-Value and a estimated STC rating of 26.
It is a Fire Rated door with cutting edge technology. Certified and tested following the UL10B standard to provide safety, practicality and a great appearance.

It is also available as a Wind Rated product (FR 2670-I WR); it can be order as Impact Resistant (Large Missile shot at 50’ feet per second) and Rated for Hurricane Wind Load Pressures of up to ± 70 p.s.f
A series of interlocking 20 gauge galvanized steel front and a 24 or 22 gauge back slat (both in flat slat profile) with a block of insulation that covers the complete length and width of each slat, fitted with windlocks. With a variety of finishes available that include: galvanized steel, white finish, grey finish, powder-coated paint and stainless steel.
Supports curtain and contains counterbalance torsion springs or band spring for assisting operation. Designed at 10,000 cycles, with the option for higher cycle requirements.
Three-angle structural steel guides that support entire door weight and wind loads (when ordered as wind rated), with attached guide seals. Ensuring a smooth operation while seals the door to reduce air filtration.
Protective sheet metal (24 gauge steel galvanized) enclosure for the curtain with header seal. Optional finishes are custom powder coat painted and stainless steel.
3/16” or 1/4” steel plates to support the hood and counterbalance shaft.
Galvanized steel double angle with a protective weather-strip reinforces the curtain and contains the locking mechanisms. Other available finishes are powder-coated paint and stainless steel.
