This Counter Rolling Door is certified as a 3hr Fire Rated door that at the same time provides the benefits of a thermal control door with a 7.25 R-Value.
It provides up to 3hr protection with a safety, practical and reliable operation with a great appearance; it is certify under the UL10B protocol and can be order to meet and exceed the very stringent High Velocity Hurricane Zones (H.V.H.Z) requirements of the current edition of the Florida Building Code and Miami Dade County Building Code.
The FRC-1665-I / 2670-I FIRE RATED INSULATED COUNTER ROLLING DOOR is ideal for customers with counters that require fire protection and climate control. Commonly used on counters or windows of refrigerated or air-conditioned warehouse, restaurants, hospitals, arenas, convenience stores and educational areas that are exposed to the elements.
It is a 3hr Fire Rated door that is UL10B certified and comply with the standards of the NFPA. Bringing you safe and security, it enhances the appearance of your building with its durable and customizable design of alternative finishes like Stainless Steel or powder coat paint, with different features for electric operation.
It is also available as a Wind Rated product (FRC 1665 WR/2670WR); it can be order as Impact Resistant (Large Missile shot at 50’ feet per second) and Rated for Hurricane Wind Load Pressures of up to ± 70 p.s.f
A series of interlocking 22 gauge galvanized steel front and a 24 gauge back slat (both in flat slat profile) with a block of insulation that covers the complete length and width of each slat, fitted with windlocks (designed to meet required wind loads) or endlocks. A variety of finishes available include: galvanized steel, white finish, grey finish, powder-coated paint and stainless steel.
Supports curtain and contains counterbalance torsion springs or band spring for assisting operation. Designed at 15,000 cycles, with the option for higher cycle requirements.
Structural steel guides that support entire counter door weight and wind loads (when ordered as wind rated), while ensuring a smooth operation while opening and closing the door. As optional finish it can be custom powder coat painted.
Protective sheet metal (24 gauge steel galvanized) enclosure for the curtain with header seal. Optional finishes are custom powder coat painted and stainless steel.
3/16” steel plates to support the hood and counterbalance shaft.
Galvanized steel double angle with a protective weather-strip reinforces the curtain and contains the locking mechanisms. Other available finishes are powder-coated paint and stainless steel.
This is a Fire Rated Counter door that provides termal control with an R-Value of 7.25, a estimated Sound Rating of 26 and up to 3hr of Fire protection.
It is designed to be automaticly activated in case of a fire, to work as a barrier to contain the fire and prevent its spread on the building, minimizing the damages and protecting the live of the people around.
