Our SFR 1665/2670 Smoke Rated & Fire Rated Rolling Door is the most secure designed to prevent damages in case of a fire since they not only stop the flames but also hold back the smoke.
The door can be activated by the flames and also when the smoke is detected by the alarm, providing a safe barrier even before the flames actually get to the opening to effectively block them and avoid any spread of smoke or fire among the building.
Our Model SFR 1665/2670 is a 3hr Fire Rated door with cutting edge technology. It is a UL10B and UL1784 certified product that also comply with the standards of the NFPA, designed for safety, practicality and great appearance to be used in commercial, industrials, residential, institutional and other facilities.
This door provides the same benefits our Fire Rated product offers, with versatile mounting designs and many options to fit into your opening current conditions or special opening layout. It will bring you safe and security while enhancing the appearance of your building with the different finishes available. It is a durable, secure, customizable and a compact door.
It is also available as a Wind Rated product (SFR 1665 WR/2670 WR); it can be order as Impact Resistant (Large Missile shot at 50’ feet per second) and Rated for Hurricane Wind Load Pressures of up to ± 70 p.s.f. under the very stringent High Velocity Hurricane Zones (H.V.H.Z) requirements of the Florida Building Code and Miami Dade County Building Code, having been Engineered and Tested in accordance with Protocols TAS 201, 202 & 203 by a Certified Laboratory.
: A series of interlocking 22 or 20 gauge galvanized steel flat slats fitted with windlocks (designed to meet required wind loads) or endlocks. A variety of finishes available include: galvanized steel, white finish, grey finish, powder-coated paint and stainless steel.
Supports curtain and contains counterbalance torsion springs or band spring for assisting operation. Designed at 15,000 cycles, with the option for higher cycle requirements.
Three-angle structural steel guides that support entire door weight and wind loads, when ordered as a Wind Rated product, while ensuring a smooth operation when opening and closing the door.
Protective sheet metal (24 gauge steel galvanized) enclosure for the curtain. Optional finishes include powder-coated paint and stainless steel.
3/16” or 1/4” steel plates to support the hood and counterbalance shaft.
Galvanized steel angle with a protective weather-strip reinforces the curtain and contains the locking mechanisms.
